The product is not earthed and could become live in the event of a fault with the insulation. The dimensions of the plug pins are not correct and the user could consequently touch live parts. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598 and the relevant national standard BS1363.

The product poses a risk of choking because small parts (the screw nuts of the wheels) easily detach from the scooter: a child may put the small part in the mouth and choke. In addition, the scooter is not sufficiently stable, causing the child to lose balance and fall. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

The metal nut at the top of the lamp could become live due to flashover and the lamp can easily come apart giving access to internal live parts. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 62560.
