Moreover the product poses an environmental risk because the plastic in the velcro strap contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCP) (measured value up to 0.180 %). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs is banned.

The transparent plastic contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phtalate (DEHP) (measured value up to 16.8 % by weight).
