The plastic in the cable contains up to 1,9% by weight short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs is banned. The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation). Furthermore, certain solders on PCB contain lead (measured value up to 45.0%).

The surface of the resin inlet cover in the fuel pump may deform, reducing the clearance between the inlet cover and the fuel pump's impeller. Consequently, the two components may interfere with each other. As a result, the impeller locks, stopping fuel flow to the engine which may cause the engine to suddenly stall.
