The amount of nickel in the product is too high (measured value 0.0017% by weight). Nickel is a strong sensitizer and can cause allergic reactions if present in products that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.

The Council of Europe Resolution ResAP (2008)1 on requirements and criteria for the safety of tattoos and permanent make-up, recommends that the content of nickel in inks for permanent make-up be as low as technically achievable. The product contains clobetasol propionate (measured concentration 0.04 % by weight). Clobetasol is a corticosteroid that should be applied to the skin only if prescribed to treat certain skin conditions. In addition to the skin lightening effect, it can induce a skin rash and burning at the application site and long-time exposure could lead to endocrine problems. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
The ink contains nickel (measured value: 22 mg/kg), arsenic (measured value: 6.8 mg/kg) and lead (measured value: 3.3 mg/kg). Nickel can cause skin irritation and induce sensitisation or elicit allergic responses, arsenic is carcinogenic and exposure to lead is harmful for human health and can cause developmental neurotoxicity.
The product overheats and could burst into flames during use causing burns to the scalp, head and hands and leaving live parts accessible that could lead to an electric shock if touched by users. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
The product contains an excessive amount of formaldehyde (measured value up to 2.3%). Formaldehyde may produce irritation of the eyes, the skin and upper respiratory tract; long term exposure may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
The eau de parfum contains the allergenic substances Linalool, Citral, Hydroxycitronellal, Lilial, Coumarin, Farnesol and Hexylcinnamaldehyd in excess of 0.001%. They are not indicated in the list of ingredients and consumers are not made aware of the presence of these substances that can induce allergic reactions and sensitisation. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products regulation.
The eau de toilette contains the allergenic substances Limonen, Linalool, Benzyl alcohol, Citronellol, Geraniol, Citral, Hydroxycitronellal, Lilial, Farnesol, Amylcinnamyl aldehyd, Lyral, Hexylcinnamaldehyd and Benzyl salicylate in excess of 0.001%. They are not indicated in the list of ingredients and consumers are not made aware of the presence of these substances that can induce allergic reactions and sensitisation. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products regulation.
