A manufacturing error may have resulted in damage to the sealing groove in the front brake caliper cylinder. There may therefore be a leakage of brake fluid, resulting in a failure of the front brakes.

The gear pinions may break, which may lead to gear failure and a crash.

Owing to excess internal pressure, inflation of the driver airbag can cause the inflator to split and release metal fragments which can cause injury to the vehicle passengers.

A chaffed steering wheel wire harness may cause an electrical short circuit and/or unintended deployment of the driver airbag. There is therefore an accident risk.

Owing to the error in the assembly, the reverse assistance of the active engine bonnet could be missing. In the case of a frontal crash releasing the active engine bonnet, it cannot be ruled out that the engine bonnet would be pushed into the windscreen and place the passengers in danger.

The braking distance may lengthen owing to a defect in the electro-hydraulic ABS control unit.

The connection between the backrest and the seat cushion on the rear bench seat may break. If it does so, the seat cushion drops approximately 6-7 cm. In the event of an accident, a person sitting on the seat may slip out from under the seat belt. This increases the potential risk of injury.

Neither the operating instructions nor the product itself indicate how the product is to be properly connected to the electricity network. If the electricity is switched off before installation, as the operating instructions require, but the device is not connected properly and the electricity switched on again, this may, under certain circumstances, cause an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.

The powder contains talc which should be kept away from nose and mouth of children under 3 years of age. In addition, the powder contains the dye CI 45170 which can cause serious eyes damage and it is contaminated by aerobic mesophilic bacteria (measured value 36000 cfu/g). The product has no adequate label claiming not to breathe the dust and can with regard to its foreseeable and promoted use lead to respiratory problems and infections as the powder may be inhaled, come in contact with the eyes and exposure to children cannot be excluded.

The product has an aspiration hazard and lacks the required labelling, child-resistant fastening and tactile warning of danger. Children could accidentally swallow some of the product leading to aspiration toxicity including chemical pneumonia. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP).
