The product contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value up to 17.5% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. In addition, the product contains di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured values up to 1.3% by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles while the phthalates DINP, DNOP and DIDP are prohibited in toys and childcare articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.
The product contains 2-nitro-p-phenylendiamine and barium peroxide according to the list of ingredients. 2-nitro-p-phenylendiamine may cause an allergic skin reaction and barium peroxide is harmful if swallowed or inhaled. The product does not comply with the Cosmetics Regulation.
The heads of the dolls contain di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured values up to 25.5% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product contains di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured values up to 12.5% by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while the phthalates DINP, DNOP and DIDP are prohibited in toys and childcare articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.

The pomade of batch 02044 contains, in addition, lead acetate which is harmful if swallowed or inhaled and may cause damage to organs or the reproductive system through prolonged or repeated exposure. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
The head of the doll contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value 12.8 % by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The head of the doll also contains di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP) (measured value 20.2 % by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles and the phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles articles which can be placed in the mouth by children .
The product contains 2.5 % by weight of hydroquinone. Hydroquinone causes skin irritation and dermatitis. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
The amount of nitrosamines released by the balloons is too high (measured value up to 0.31 mg/kg). A child could put the balloon in the mouth to blow or suck it; nitrosamines are carcinogenic via inhalation and ingestion. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive.
The amount of Chromium (VI) in the leather is too high (measured value: 13 mg/kg). Chromium (VI) is sensitising and may trigger allergic reactions. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
