The plastic material of the charms contains di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: up to 15% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalate DEHP is prohibited in all toys and childcare articles.

The tyres of the toy car contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in concentrations from 9 to 179 mg/kg. These PAHs are carcinogenic. The child can be exposed when the tyres come into direct and prolonged or repetitive contact with the skin or the mouth. According to the REACH Regulation these PAHs are prohibited in toys, including activity toys, and childcare articles.
