The plastic material of the ponies contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured values: 11.5% by weight - pink pony; 21.1% by weight - grey pony). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles.

The gloves contain azo-dyes which release the aromatic amines benzidine (measured value 185 mg/kg) and 3,3’-Dimethoxybenzidine (measured value 104 mg/kg). When the product is in direct and prolonged contact with the skin, these aromatic amines may be absorbed by the skin. Aromatic amines can cause cancer, cell mutations and affect reproduction. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
