The products contain an excessive amount of formaldehyde (measured value up to 4.7%). Formaldehyde may produce irritation of the eyes, the skin and upper respiratory tract; long term exposure may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
The amount of Chromium (VI) in the leather of the gloves is too high (measured value: 7.3 mg/kg). Chromium (VI) is sensitising and may trigger allergic reactions. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation and with the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment Directive.

Nickel is a strong sensitizer and can cause allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
The mouthpiece of the canoe contains di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured value: up to 47 % by weight) and di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 0.127 % by weight). According to the REACH Regulation, the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles and the phthalates DINP, DNOP and DIDP are prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.
The plastic material of the head of the doll contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value 21.8% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles.

This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The plastic material of the arms and legs of the doll contains also di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured value 1.01% by weight). According to the REACH Regulation DEHP is prohibited in all toys and childcare articles and DINP is prohibited in toys or childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.
The product contains cadmium (measured value: up to 90% by weight). Cadmium is harmful to human health, because it accumulates in the body and can damage organs and/or cause cancer. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
