The plastic material of the toy giraffe contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value 11.6 % by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. According to the REACH Regulation, DEHP, DBP and BBP phthalates are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles.
Tattoo ink
The product contains polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH)s, including benzo(a)pyrene (measured value benzo(a)pyrene: 0.2 mg/kg; total of PAHs: 29.5 mg/kg). Some PAHs are carcinogenic.
