The candles, due to their characteristic form, colour and size may be mistaken for foodstuff. Small parts can be easily detached from the product and this may lead children to put them in the mouth, swallow or ingest them. The sides of the grill become too hot. A person, unaware that the surfaces are hot, might touch them and receive burns. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
The cover of the adaptor can be removed without the aid of a tool giving access to live parts. It is possible to insert one pin of a plug into one of the holes of the adaptor, leaving the the other live pin of the plug accessible. The product does not comply with the relevant national standard.
