The pressure cooker can build up a pressure which is too high and it is not sufficiently resistant to deformation. As a result, the lid of the pressure cooker could open and the user could receive burns. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive and the relevant European standard EN 12778. One accident reported.
Heated towel rail
The pressure inside the heater may build up which could result in the heater developing a crack through which steam or antifreeze could escape causing burns to the user. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
Electric barbecue grill
The sides of the grill become too hot. A person, unaware that the surfaces are hot, might touch them and receive burns. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
