The products contain aromatic amines (o-anisidine and aniline) (measured values: up to 5 ppm for each) and/or barium (measured value: up to 54000 ppm). Aromatic Amines can cause cancer, cell mutations and affect reproduction. When Barium is present in soluble barium salts it can be absorbed from the tattoo and have toxic effects. Barium toxicity leads to cardiac arrhythmias, respiratory failure, gastrointestinal dysfunction, paralysis, muscle twitching, and elevated blood pressure.
The product contains aromatic amines (measured value for o-anisidine: 40 mg/kg). Aromatic Amines can cause cancer, cell mutations and affect reproduction.
The plastic in the cables contains up to 1,7% by weight short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs is banned. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
The soap solution of the toy contains mesophilic aerobic bacteria (measured quantity up to 65000 cfu/ml). There is a risk of contracting infections as the solution may come in contact with the mouth, hands and eyes. The product does not comply with requirements of the Toy Safety Directive.
