Internal wires are are only soldered and not attached mechanically. The windings on the transformer are touching. The metal parts of the bulb may become live as a consequence, leading to the user receiving an electrical shock if the bulb is touched. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 62560 and EN 62471.

It is possible to insert one pin of a plug in one hole of the live socket while the other live pin of the plug remains accessible. If the user touches the live accessible pin they would get an electric shock.

The cable anchorage is not secure and the cable can detach leaving live parts accessible. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 61242.

The plug adapter allows single-pole insertion of the charger, leaving the remaining free live pin accessible. The cables are not correctly marked. It is thus impossible to assess whether the cable meets the requirements of heavy-duty rubber-insulated cables. There is a risk that the cable is not suited to contact with water and that the user could consequently receive an electric shock on contact with the water. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

The conductors in the cable are too thin. Overheating of the cable can cause parts of the insulation of the cable to disintegrate and thereby expose live sections of the cable which may be touched. Furthermore, there is a risk that the water pumped out will be under voltage. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.

The cable inside the lamp was twisted during assembly and therefore may have been damaged. The damaged cable can come into contact with the metallic body of the lamp which could consequently become live. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.

There is no electrical insulation (reinforced insulation) between the primary circuit and the secondary circuit of the transformer. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60950.
