An inadequate screw connection may result in the loss of the side panel, endangering following road-users if this side panel falls on the roadway.
Due to errors in the manufacturing process, the connection between shaft and head (pick) may not be adequate. As a result, the head may become detached from the shaft during use. The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment Directive.
The clutch pressure plate bearing may break when the clutch is operated frequently due to insufficient load rating of the bearing. As a consequence, the clutch may fail to operate and the transmission will not shift properly. There is a possibility that engine oil pressure may not regulate properly due to an improper design of the oil relief valve in the oil pump. As a consequence, the resin gear may break which could result in engine damage due to lack of oil supply.
In the event of a car crash involving strong forces the end mount of the rear right seat belt may fail because of incorrectly fixed bolts. This would increase the potential risk of injury to passengers.
In the affected vehicles, the mechanical rear-door child-proof locking system may have been damaged during manufacturing. This can cause the child-proof locking system to be switched off without this being noticed, especially in the event of strong vibrations, making it possible for the door to be opened from the inside by children.
The motorcycles may lose the ability to generate enough lift to disengage the clutch after being parked for an extended period. If this condition remains undetected, it could lead to a loss of control of the vehicle when it is either started in gear or when it is first put into gear.
