The plastic material of the duck contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value: 7.2% by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The plastic of the duck also contains di-isononyl phtalate (DINP) (measured value: 32% by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while phthalates DINP, DIDP and DNOP are prohibited in toys and childcare articles that can be placed in the mouth by children.
Excessively brittle bolts were installed in certain fittings used for the front and rear wheel hub assemblies. There is consequently a risk of the bolts breaking which could lead to other components being damaged. This could result in the front brake disc breaking or could undermine the stability of the vehicle during braking.
The internal wiring might become damaged where it passes through metal parts that are unprotected against abrasion. The live conductors could consequently come into contact with accessible metal parts. The mains cable is not properly attached and could come out if accidentally pulled, leaving the live ends of the wires accessible to the user. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
The laser beam is too powerful and the product is not correctly labelled. Direct viewing of the laser beam could cause damage to sight. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 60825-1 with respect to labelling.

The product contains barium (measured value 11700 mg/kg). Soluble barium salts can be absorbed from the tattoo and have toxic effects. Barium toxicity can lead to cardiac arrhythmias, respiratory failure, gastrointestinal dysfunction, paralysis, muscle twitching, and elevated blood pressure. The Council of Europe Resolution ResAP (2008)1 on requirements and criteria for the safety of tattoos and permanent make-up, recommends that barium in tattoo inks does not exceed 50 mg/kg.
