The product contains hydroquinone (measured value: 3.9% by weight). Hydroquinone can cause skin irritation and dermatitis. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Nail polish remover
The label of the nail polish remover indicates the presence of dibutyl phtalate (DBP) which is toxic to reproduction. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Holi colour powder
More than 30% of the particles in the powder are small enough to get into the pulmonary alveoli and it contains talc which should be kept away from nose and mouth of children under 3 years of age. In addition, the powder contains the dye CI 42535 which can cause serious eye damage and is harmful if ingested and it is contaminated by aerobic mesophilic bacteria (measured value 19000 cfu/g).
Suncream for children
Due to an incorrect translation of the label, the French version of the label gives misleading information to consumers stating that babies and small children should be exposed to direct sunlight instead of the correct statement 'Babies and small children should not be exposed to direct sunlight'. This can potentially result in children and babies being excessively exposed to sunlight. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Skin care
The amount of nickel in the product is too high (measured value 0.0017% by weight). Nickel is a strong sensitizer and can cause allergic reactions if present in products that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Skin lightening cream
The product contains clobetasol propionate (measured concentration 0.04 % by weight). Clobetasol is a corticosteroid that should be applied to the skin only if prescribed to treat certain skin conditions. In addition to the skin lightening effect, it can induce a skin rash and burning at the application site and long-time exposure could lead to endocrine problems. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.

The product contains an excessive amount of formaldehyde (measured value up to 2.3%). Formaldehyde may produce irritation of the eyes, the skin and upper respiratory tract; long term exposure may cause cancer. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Eau de Parfum
The eau de parfum contains the allergenic substances Linalool, Citral, Hydroxycitronellal, Lilial, Coumarin, Farnesol and Hexylcinnamaldehyd in excess of 0.001%. They are not indicated in the list of ingredients and consumers are not made aware of the presence of these substances that can induce allergic reactions and sensitisation. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products regulation.
