Hair straightener/heated brush
The button allowing to switch between curling and straightening reaches a high temperature. Due to its position on the device it may come into contact with the face while the brush is being used normally and cause burns. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
Tumble dryer
In some limited cases, excess fluff will come into contact with the heating element which could lead to a fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
Battery charger
The electrical insulation is not sufficient which may cause an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
Wall plug adapter supplied with various devices
The wall plug adapter may break when being plugged in to, or unplugged from, the mains wall socket. If this happens, the user could touch live parts and receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
Air compressor
The temperature of the air compressor air outlet becomes too high during operation which could lead to the user receiving burns. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the relevant European standard EN 1012.
Portable dehumidifier
A component on the PCB (printed circuit board) can overheat due to contact with an internal wire and/or dust on the component causing a risk of fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
Digital multimeter
The electrical insulation of the product is not sufficient. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 61010.
