Children’s clothing set
The drawstring with free ends in the hood and in the trousers may become trapped during various activities of the child, leading to strangulation or injuries respectively. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 14682.
Decorative light bulb
The cap of the light bulb is too long. The user can consequently touch the live cap when inserting the light bulb in a socket. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60432-1.
Work gloves
The amount of Chromium (VI) in the leather is too high (measured value up to 18.6 mg/kg). Chromium (VI) is sensitising and may trigger allergic reactions. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment Directive and with the REACH Regulation.
Plastic rattles
The rattles can easily break, generating small parts which could be put in the mouth by a small child and block the airways. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
Children's travel cot
The plastic mattress base can easily be lifted: a child could be trapped underneath and suffocate. There are protruding parts to which garments of children could get hanged, causing strangulation. In addition, the presence of long cords and strings may also cause strangulation. Also, the defective locking mechanism may cause the cot to fold inadvertently, causing injuries to the child and the gap between the side bars and the changing unit is too large, which may cause entrapment of fingers between the unit and the side of the cot.
Children’s travel cot
The plastic base of the bed (the mattress) folds too easily; a small child could pull it up and get trapped underneath, with the risk of suffocation. Moreover, a child could introduce its head in the outside pocket of the cot and get trapped, leading to suffocation. The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 716-2.
Talcum powder
The product contains aerobic mesophilic bacteria (measure value up to 6300 cfu/g). The contamination can cause eye irritation and inflammation of the conjunctiva. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
Children’s travel cot
The zip pullers can easily detach. A small child could put them in the mouth and choke. Moreover, the base of the bed (mattress) folds too easily and there is a pocket on the outside of the cot. A small child could pull the base up and get trapped underneath or introduce its head in the outside pocket of the cot and get trapped, leading to suffocation. The string located inside the changing unit is too long, posing a risk of strangulation. In addition, there are gaps and openings between the sides and the changing unit of the cot. The small child can put its finger inside and get trapped.
Lighting chain
The user may access live parts because the cable detaches easily if it is pulled. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
