The body of the beacon may crack causing the beacon to open. If this happens, the beacon may not work correctly in an emergency situation. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Marine Equipment Directive.
The electrical insulation is not sufficient and a short-circuit could occur, causing the user to receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60950.
The drive shaft universal joint bearing may not have been properly assembled and, even if properly assembled, may not be sufficiently durable as a result of manufacturing errors. As a consequence, the universal joint may, in the worst case, break and interfere with the swing arm causing the rear wheel to lock-up. This may result in a crash.
An improper repair of the thermal fuse of the resistor in the heating and ventilation system may pose a risk of fire.
The products contain aromatic amines (o-anisidine and aniline) (measured values: up to 5 ppm for each) and/or barium (measured value: up to 54000 ppm). Aromatic Amines can cause cancer, cell mutations and affect reproduction. When Barium is present in soluble barium salts it can be absorbed from the tattoo and have toxic effects. Barium toxicity leads to cardiac arrhythmias, respiratory failure, gastrointestinal dysfunction, paralysis, muscle twitching, and elevated blood pressure.
The product contains aromatic amines (measured value for o-anisidine: 40 mg/kg). Aromatic Amines can cause cancer, cell mutations and affect reproduction.
Glass panels that have no chemical bond to the adhesive could detach from the vehicle whilst the vehicle is in motion. Where a glass panel detaches from the vehicle, it may collide with other vehicles on the road or compel other road users to take evasive action. This could increase the risk of a vehicle crash.
The product contains methylisothiazolinone (MI) in excess (measured value 0.0181%). MI is a sensitizing agent and may cause skin sensitization and allergic skin reactions. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
The rubber coating on the portable plug socket cable contains 4,7% by weight short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs is banned. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
