The head of the doll contains di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (measured value 34.5 % by weight). This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles.

This phthalate may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to the reproductive system. The product contains di-isononyl phthalate (DINP) (measured values up to 12.5% by weight). According to the REACH Regulation the phthalates DEHP, DBP and BBP are prohibited in all toys and childcare articles, while the phthalates DINP, DNOP and DIDP are prohibited in toys and childcare articles which can be placed in the mouth by children.
The product collapses easily, despite the presence of a safety lock, with the consequent risk of entrapment, mainly of fingers, between moving parts. The product does not comply with the Toy Safety Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
The upper panel of the fridge/freezer case may detach or break, leaving live parts accessible. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
The plastic in the stickers contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value up to 1,4% by weight). The placing on the market and use of articles containing SCCPs is banned. SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation).
The nozzles of the bottles become detached easily, generating small parts. A small child may put them in the mouth and choke. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.
The wires can easily pull out from the lights, exposing live parts. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standards EN 60598 and EN 61347.
The product contains nickel (measured value 51.8 mg/kg). Nickel can cause skin irritation and induce sensitisation or elicit allergic responses. The Council of Europe Resolution ResAP (2008)1 on requirements and criteria for the safety of tattoos and permanent make-up, recommends that the content of nickeI in tattoo inks be as low as technically achievable. The product does not comply with national legislation.
